Magiribahan Kita mourns the passing of Atty. Ben Llaneta.
Bienvenido "Ben" Llaneta, Esq. Born in Ligao, Albay, Philippines on Dec. 10, 1923; died at Hobart Hospital, Gary, Indiana, September 23, 1999. Member, Illinois State Bar; former Consul, Philippine Consulate, Chicago, Il., founder, Bicol, U.S.A. Chicago, former Parliamentarian, Bikol National Association of America (BNAA). Survived by wife, Cyrill P. Mendez-Llaneta, M.D., Past President BNAA, and six children. Body lies in state at El Camino Mortuary and Cemetery, 5600 Coral Canyon Rd., San Diego. Funeral mass on Saturday, Oct. 2, at 9:30 a.m. at St. William of York Church, 4343 Del Mar Trail Rd., San Diego. Internment follows immediately. A.M.D.G.

aid to Camarines Norte in the form of food, clothing, books, medicine,
and many others. To date, in a joint venture with the Society of
Philippine Surgeons in America led by Dr. Antonio Abiog, BACNA embarks
on a surgical mission to Camarines Norte in January 10, 2000.

STORY In a telephone conference with Romy Salvador, president of Bay Area Camarines Norte Association, and Dr. Antonio Abiog, head of the surgical team volunteering for this surgical mission, Dr. Abiog notified Romy Salvador of the change of schedule from December 1999 to January 10, year 2000.
